"I can't stand business cards. I receive hundreds of them each year at conferences and meetings and they're a mess to manage. They literally fall out of every pair of pants or suit of jacket that I won. You'd think a card scanner would help, but all the ones I tried were plagued by annoying shortcomings or lackluster quality. Then I discovered the Worldcard. I shove business cards into the reader, and it accurately scans the data, then automatically exports the information to Excel, Outlook, a Palm Pilot, or my cell phone. It's fast too: I've scanned as many as 300 cards in 45 minutes.When I look up a contact, I can even see the original image of his or her card,and if the image needs to be retouched, I can easily do that myself. The scanner isn't much bigger than a cell phone, so it travels easily. After I pulled mine out at a recent business meeting in Washington D.C., several people in the room immediately hopped online to purchase one for themselves."
