DoubleLook mode is a feature in the CompanionLink Professional product. It runs as a “real-time process” from the Windows System Tray area. It continuously synchronizes your CRM with Outlook. Any changes made in your CRM will show up in Outlook. And vice versa. You can work from either program -- your CRM or Outlook -- without having the other program open.

You can freely work in any application and not even have the other open. For example, a user can always work in Outlook and never open their company database. The information will be updated in their company database automatically.
