What CompanionLink does

CompanionLink synchronizes your GoldMine data to the built-in fields on your phone. It supports all the latest devices.

CompanionLink Express does two-way sync between GoldMine and your device. CompanionLink Pro includes features like advanced field-mapping, optional wireless sync service and other settings.

CompanionLink also works with the DejaOffice app (currently supports Android, iPhone, and iPad devices). DejaOffice offers a business-friendly suite of Contacts, Calendar, Tasks and Notes apps for your device.

Wireless sync (2 options)

Option 1 -- Sync via Google (Subscription-free wireless sync service)
Sync GoldMine data to your Google, Gmail or Google Apps account. Then, Google will sync this data over-the-air to your device using their free Google Sync service. It works with all the latest iPhone, iPad, BlackBerry, Windows Mobile, and Symbian S60 devices. Android and Palm webOS integration with Google is supported natively, so the Google Sync service is not needed for these devices.

Option 2 -- Secure wireless sync service by CompanionLink
(Requires $9.95/month subscription) -- Wirelessly sync service between GoldMine and any iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, BlackBerry, Windows Mobile or Palm OS device. You can activate the service directly in the CompanionLink Professional software configuration. CompanionLink does not host your data. It only synchronizes data.

Moves your GoldMine contact information to the built-in Contacts application on your BlackBerry handheld. Goldmine Appointments, Calls and Scheduled items are synchronized with the built-in Calendar application on your BlackBerry handheld. More Detailed Information Contact Information CompanionLink will move your GoldMine contact information to the built-in Address Book application on the BlackBerry handheld. You can edit the information, and add new contacts, and that information will be synchronized back to your GoldMine database. The synchronized information includes: Name, Company, Address, City, State, Zip and Country. Four "Custom Fields" of your choice. Notes or history. With CompanionLink, you can specify the number of contact notes to attach to the contact information (max. 25 per contact), to be visible in the BlackBerry Address Book application. Adding a New Contact Note To add a new note via the BlackBerry, add it to the Bottom of the existing notes (your cursor will be placed there by default). When synchronizing, CompanionLink will date and time stamp your new note and move it to the top of the list. You can make changes, complete and/or create new to-do items on the BlackBerry and those items will be synchronized with your GoldMine To-Do list. The To-Do information that is synchronized includes: To-Do Description. To-Do Due date. A To-Do Priority. GoldMine priority "High" is marked as "High" on the BlackBerry, "Medium" is "Medium" and "Low" is "Low." Contact link information. This information will be attached to the to-do description in the following form: Link: Jane Smith At: ABC Corporation Ph: (888)555-1234 You can see that the BlackBerry automatically adds the name (and phone number) you selected. You may delete the phone number, but the word link must appear at the beginning of the second line. When you synchronize with CompanionLink, the Task will be added to the GoldMine To-Do list with "Follow up phone call" in the "regarding" field. The item will be linked to the specified contact record. CompanionLink is the only BlackBerry Conduit that supports linked contacts for appointments and To-Do Items.
